Video footage from WLKY's Mark Vanderhoff shows the bomb squad releasing a robot from an armored vehicle, and it can be seen rolling toward the suspected bombs. Geared-up police and SWAT team members are investigating the surrounding area for 'any other potential threats.' That shelter in place order was lifted at around 1.30pm and traffic has resumed in the area with the exception of vehicle traffic on Jefferson between 4th and 5th streets. Several streets were shut down as the LMPD's bomb squad investigates the incident. Those confined within Jefferson between Third and Sixth Streets are asked to shelter in place. The suspicious package contained at least five white cylinders that were labeled Bomb 1 and 2 and was found bundled together behind a bench at the 5th Street and Jefferson Street bus stop. Downtown Louisville was blocked off after a suspicious package of white cylinders with wires was found at a bus stop on Friday morning.
